Since that last ad was taken down, the one with the under 18's, more adverts which i think are inappropriate are coming on, ones I would expect to see on a porn site, not getdare, like CamWithHer and the facebook of sex ad.
I know these ads make more cash, but why not just go to non-sexual ads?

I browsed as a Guest, and on an account, lily's, who does not have a subscription and did not see any ads. Ads are how depp pays for the site as long as they have no nudity in them they are not illegal to show. The best approach to protect the minors would be not allowing them on the site. Once you click the link it is no longer gD responsibility. These sites are required to have a "you must be 18 to enter slash screen." Unless another way to pay for the site is thought of the ads will continue. To get pg-13 ads the site would have to get rid of the S/M part entirely, gD is considered a 18+ site so ad companies will not approve advertising on the site.

All above statements are to my best guesses.

So in short, gD has to use 18+ ads because it has 18+ content. It is also not gD's fault YOU clicked on the link.

The site needs money to run though. The site does have an adult theme all though a lot of the members aren't adults, its a bit of a dilemma I expect from Depp's point of view. A family company isn't going to want their product advertised by a thread like 'what can I put in my ass', and the younger members here don't want porn adverts. The last ones seemed pefect but ended up very very wrong. What can Depp do, at the end of the day someone needs to make a concession for Depp and allow whichever adverts he can get providing they are not dangerous, or people have to pay up themselves which I don't see happening!

get dare does not get to choose what banner goes up... really unless you know a few pg 13 sites that want to advertise on here i don't think you will get those ad's besides most the ads are safe to look at and as said before no nudity and the warning is pretty much all that can be done.

getDare can say no to them to advertise but then they would loose lots of money.. so just ignore it

Unfortunately, unless getDare becomes a site for paid membership this site will always have ads, also unfortunately due to the nature of the sites it is unlikely that companies such as rice crispies and websites such as myspace will want to advertise here. These ads are not as bad as the the ones with the under=aged nude photos and no-one is forcing under-aged users to click the links they are gifted with free will and independence for the most part. To make this site entirely PG thirteen it is not just the advertisements that would have to go.

No, pg-13 companies will not advertise on a site that has 18+ content. The best approach would be to make gD an 18+ site... and no one wants that. So, those under 18 need to know better to not click on them, and if you do click it is your fault gD didn't make you click on it and look around.
