Hello everyone, the third case for getDare Police Department is here. Before we start, a couple of things I'd want to say:

Please, make sure you read my blog entry with the rules. There have been changes. Feel free to ask question if something isn't clear.

I will soon post a blog entry with the summary of all the clues, dares and points, so that it's not necessary to read through the whole thread. The link will be available both in this post and in my signature.

GDPD: Shooting for the Stars

You've been waken up in the middle of the night by a phone call. Another murder in getDare, you soon learn. A man was shot dead in the street. You need to go to the scene to investigate.


You now can:

• Go to the crime scene - 4 points

Current dares:

• Slap your face ten times, 1 point, 0/6.
• Use the toilet backwards - 1 point, 23.08. 22:00 UTC
• Piss all over yourself before showering - 2 points, 0/2

First day on the job, and got a 2am call to get down to a new crime scene. As I went to the bathroom, sitting backwards on the toilet - which is surprisingly efficient when clad in a dressing gown - I slapped myself in the face ten times to help myself wake up. I've a feeling I'm going to need to be alert for this.

(Plain english translation - Used the toilet backwards and slapped myself in the face ten times, to put towards going to the crime scene)

Detective Charlotte smashes down the telephone handset. She didnt have much sleep in the last days. There was a lot of paperwork and is really overtired.
She heads right to the bathroom where she splashes some cold water in her face. "Didn'd work fine... Get some coffee or..."
She quickly slapps her face 10 times to awaken.
"No, no time for coffee. Let's go."
She gets dressed and jumps into the car. A few minutes later she arrives at the crime scene.
A quick look tells her that her her friend Detective DeBael didn't arrive yet (both know each other from former days in the police academy and worked together at different crime scenes).
Detective Charlotte grabs her mobile phone and calls her.
"Hurry up. There is some work to do."
Charlotte puts the phone back to her belt and enters the place...

You arrived at the crime scene. There's a dead man lying on the ground, in front of one of getDare's nightclubs, with two shot wounds in his chest. Just like everyone else here, you immediately recognize him. It's Ronald Britt, man who was supposed to be one of the crew members in first manned flight of getDare Space Programme scheduled for next month.

"Hrmf....." Andrew grunted as he heard the call come over the radio, waking him from his slumber.
Damn night shifts.
He pulled himself up in the seat of his cruiser and looked at his watch.
Guess lunch is over.
He typed in the address of the crime and slapped himself a few times to eliminate the last vestiges of sleep. He didn't like being back on patrol, but he knew he had to remain a member of the department to find out what exactly was going on in the bigger picture.
He threw the vehicle into drive and proceeded towards the crime scene.

[DeBael]

DeBael was awoken by her ringtone.
"Hurry up, there's work to do!" the voice commanded.
She crawled out of her bed, her head hurting from a severe hangover. She had a drinking night yesterday with some friends. She couldn't even remember how she got home, so drunk she was.
She noticed the wet spot in her bed and felt her undies. "Aww shit..." she sighed.
She turned the matress on its side and went to get a warm shower and afterwards got dressed for work.

When she arrived she saw Charlotte noting her findings in her notebook. She walked up behind her quietly and slammed both her hands on her shoulders. Charlotte instinctively turned around and slapped DeBael very hard on the cheek which made DeBael stagger backwards.
"Don't sneak up on me like that! I'm gonna have a heart attack one day." she said while picking up her pen which she dropped.
"Come on, can't I have some fun with you?" DeBael laughed. Her cheek hurt alot, Charlotte might seem frail but had could really knock you out.
"So, what's the situation?"
