As far as I am aware it depends on youre age and the age of the people viewing the session.If any of the involved parties are under 18 then yes it is as it constitutes as viewing/distributing / creating child pornography. Or at least this is what ive been lead to believe.

even if its illegal, u cant be arrested.

even if u had a cam session with a 13 year old, its not rape, u didnt force her, she accepted the cam request, so it doesnt count. but if u got it to the other level, and met her thats fkn illegal .

Just to clarify my response:
Of course it depends what you mean by a cam session, there is a big difference in an adult cam session to just being friendly or simple chatting. Your question is rather vague, but I think everyone will assume that you mean an adult cam session by the fact that you asked the question in the first place.

Not true. There is a little issue called child pornography.

It is also rather perturbing that someone should even suggest a 19 year old have an adult cam session with a 13 year old.

Yes, although it may be very difficult for anyone to catch you camming with a minor, it is still possible. They would nearly have to catch you in the act unless you were a creeper and recorded it O.o It is definately still wrong either way

Going by the same logic however, technically I can have sex under the legal age of consent. I didn't force her, in fact she is the one who wanted it. She said yes. However, it is still illegal, at least here in the United States because of Statutory rape laws.

To the OP, always be careful. Remember it is the internet, so people can lie about their age (just like real life but easier). Someone might say they are 18 or over and be 15. Think before you do

There is a law in every country which establish the minimum age for sex. People are not minors over the age of 18 or 21 but someone of 15-16 (depends on country laws) is considered to have discernment and is allowed to have sex with. That is probably to avoid the situation where the boy is 18 and the girl is 15-17 - this can't be considered child abuse.

Still I think this doesn't apply to livecams.

Yeah, as far as i know you can have sex with people as low as 14 in some countries, but with webcams it's always illegal due to the fact that it can be recorded. Of course it is unlikely that they will bother with you if you don't record it and distribute it, but it's not impossible and (for all the Americans here) you do *not* want to be a registered sex offender with all the laws around it.

But that's only the legal aspect, there is the moral aspect of whether it is "right" to watch a naked 16 or 17 year old through a webcam too. Which is much harder since it depends on the other individual, how far they have gone with others, how long you have known them, and so on and on.

But my advice still is to just steer clear of it, if only because of the legal aspect to it

exactly. I think past this the case is pretty much done, what the OP was asking was if it was legal, for a group of nineteen year olds to do live adult cam. not as far as having sex with them. So sofaras the origional post is concerned then NO it is not, any younger than 18 is though.

For those saying that it's 18, it's against getDare rules to engage in live cam sessions from people you have met on-site. However, in real life circumstances, live cam sessions are illegal when involving members who are under the age of consent. The age of consent changes from country to country (and state to state) so those who are saying it's exactly 18 are wrong. It depends soley on the age of consent of the location of the participants.
