i remember that. it was a pai nat times when you had to type all the commands for windows. it sucked at times

ZX81 was my first pc..
then we had an 086 with dos then 286... ohh yea it was getting good then 386sx with windows 2 .. something upgraded to 486sx with windows 3.11 for workgroups then to 486dx100 with windows 95 then 98... then ME then AMD k6-2 400 with windows 2k ... dam did that fly with my new voodoo 3 after a while it was a Athlon 1.4ghz with xp then T-bred 2200 also with xp... then barton 3200 .. also xp then AMD Athlon 64 4200 with vista then the first gen of my current system the q6600 with windows 7 inbetween all these ive had linux on laptops and servers. ahem ill put my geek away now.

A windows 98. Sometimes I'm still forced to use it when my other computers are being difficult. Ironically, it's more secure, and less likely to crash than my Windows 7. Lol.

Never have run windows on any computer I've owned. Always UNIX (FreeBSD or Linux).

I used DOS & Windows 3 at Uni, before that I used a BBC Model A, then an Acorn A3000 at home running RISC OS which beat the pants off Windows at the time!

It was defnitely three point something. I think it was only a few years ago that I went back to it for a spot of fun (had the old box lying around), and I had no fucking idea how to use the bloody thing. Like, Windows was soo different back then. Then again, it was probably faster than Windows 7. *cackles*.

I think I still have a version of Windows 3.1 on floppy disk somewhere in my attic. If I remember rightly the whole operating system was about 6 disks
