Do you usually give dare reports?

I'm just wondering how often people get dare reports when they've given someone a dare

I understand that not everyone is too bothered about giving a detailed report of how their dare went or find it hard to explain how they felt

On the other hand when you have someone saying that they will tell you, it can be annoying when you hear nothing back. Especially if you spent a good deal of time working out a specific dare for that person.

I've no problem with people who just don't want to do dare reports but if you say you will, they I think you should.

So to finish, do you give dare reports often?

I do unless it is a basic task/rule etc. (some exceptions apply).

I feel people deserve to know how it went and wether it worked out or not.

I try to give good reports for dares im given especially if they are custom made for me (cause that takes time and effort) or If its something new to me.
I tend to not give reports for bland dares as they would make bland reports.

Sometimes kitty is in a bad mood and doesn't put the effort into writing a report, im trying to get better with this

If I spend the time coming up with a customised dare to suit an individual, and the only response I get is "Done. Next?", it leaves me rather frustrated. I'll usually give them a chance to report back properly, but otherwise they won't be receiving any more customised dare from me.

Well from a Master's viewpoint, it's important, it's communication between the Slave and the Master. It's really a feedback system were you can learn the Slaves likes and dislikes, even though there aren't posted in the signature.
Then when a Master see you post again and knows you enjoyed something last time, he can repeat it or enhanced the experience by adding something to it, like a blindfold.
It's a shame that a lot of slaves don't post reports.

Well in a master/slave relationship it's pretty essential

Very true. But when you haunt a certain area, like request punishment, you see the same faces, and the reports become helpful when pushing a person pain limit, or backing down, or help them explore something new.

If I said I will do a report, then yes.
If the dare said to do a report and I accepted the dare, then yes.

Other times, it depends. Many of the loser dares, are simple little dares and the threads aren't really meant to do a follow up on a particular dare. So unless it was a rather involved dare and the dare giver would want a report, probably not.

Other dares when it's specifically given for me and thought and time is put into it, I expect to give a report unless the person isn't interested in one.

I have no problem in giving a report of I'm asked to or if I say I will. Otherwise I don't feel a need to since I usually don't get them on the dates I give out to most people. I have received some reports and those people usually get them from me.

I always give a dare report for any custom dare I get or any dare I asked for. If I cannot do the dare of failed the dare I will also report on that.
For PM dares I usually don't report because there is not much to say, but I do always reply with a thank you telling them that I will do it.

The opposite, sadly, is rarely the case. Many dares I give do not even yield a reply, let alone a report. But there are still some people who give good reports.
