Don't search for "dare"

So, I just discovered that search for "dare" doesn't work very well on this site

Go figure....

A lot of things can cause a 500 error!
Sometimes they can be user side- Although I’m having the same issues using the search functionality, so it probably is an internal server error.

There’s no need to be snarky, afaik nobody gets paid to maintain this site.

If you need a work around, I recommend using google to search,
Entering “site:www.getdare.com” before whatever search terms you want will limit results to just from getdare.

Edit: Incase anyone is attempting to fix this, it seems to only not work with the search term “dare”, any other works fine.
I’m using brave on desktop and safari on mobile- the behaviour is the same on both devices.

I wasn't being snarky at all... nor blaming anything for this.

My point was that I should have clearly thought "dare" wouldn't be a good search term on a site that is all about Dares.

I don't know if this is still the case, but if IRC the search feature used to say that dare was too generic and to try something more specific when you tried to search it.

When every 2nd post on this site contains the word "dare", it shouldn't surprise anyone if this returns so many results that it breaks a script. The search results for that term would be equivalent to browsing through the site, so maybe just try that.

Or, if you are all alone and scared in this confusing world of web search, click on the tab on top called "truth or dare online" and get instant gratification.

relax people... I'm not a fool or complaining. This is just a silly, stupid observation. I figured the "Lounge" area would be a place I could make such a pointless and seemingly obvious post.

I wish I didn't make this post now.
