It can vary...often it does give that moment of clarity so you can clear your head and do something else...but I think it can be easier to be distracted and drawn in to more play afterwards, so depends on the circumstances.
Having a quick cum is never really satisfying, but sometimes it can be a way to clear to cobwebs so you are less distracted, a longer session though gets you into that mindset more though where you think about enjoying yourself further...

For sure it does! Being horny is a huge distraction for me. It's especially true when the "productive" things are boring as hell. My last stint of chastity was about a month. I think it depends, could be either. Sometimes if I'm very horny then sure, a quick orgasm may help (not that I have that option very often lol) but other time's having an orgasm would be more of a distraction than the hornyness. Going back to something mundane after an orgasm can be hard.

That depends on my situation. If I was free to cum I have often cum before sleeping, as it got me sleepy.
