Advice needed: How do you keep/get clean for anal?

How do you do it?

I always struggle to get myself "squeaky clean" back there. I have started a one proper meal a day policy (looking after my weight of course!). But even that, doesn't reliably help.
I usually do a few enemas in one go. If there is blockage only a bit to release that bit, and then between one and two litres. Still more often than not there always is residue which I don't want around when stretching properly. I normally do two enemas a day - around morning/midday and in the evening.

Especially with Mistress and me meeting up in just under two weeks from now, and me definitely wanting to be available back there on up to two days I would very much love input about this.


How long do you hold your enemas in?
How many do you do in one cleaning session?
How often do you clean per day?
What do you think about doing a few non solids days before I travel to see Mistress? And what can you recommend?

Since I will be flying to her, and travelling is exhausting, and she wants to show me the city, there will be dinner on the first and second day as well. And I am actually looking forward to one particular meal (meat pie, just never had it, and always wanted one).

Any other expertise you can lend is also very welcome! I can't do it like the porn stars do: no meals for at least a day before a shoot. Since there will be a meal just before a full day of puppy play! Other than that, I'll try things out.

It depends on for how long you intend to play and the kind of play that you want to do! For a regular romp, my experience is that simply douching is more than enough. If you're going to do a long session, however, you might want to do a proper enema or two (whatever you feel comfortable with). That should keep you clean enough for the session.

That said, keep in mind that you're never going to be squeaky clean when giving yourself enemas - there's always going to be something left inside, so the returns will never be crystal clear. However, for most anal play, you should be perfectly fine with giving yourself an enema or two (I wouldn't do more than a litre if it's just for cleaning, and even that might be a bit of overkill!), and then a quick douche to rinse whatever might have been left in your rectum. That, and a shower afterwards, should be more than enough to keep unpleasant surprises away.

I highly recommend not skipping meals or changing your diet before visiting.

To be honest, when doing anal, shit happens! If you are not willing to get a bit messy at times, then it is not an activity you should be doing.

You may also want to do some research on enemas. Doing them too often can be harmful as your body starts to rely on them to get rid of waste, rather than going to the bathroom as normal.

Personally, when Mr. D and I are going to do anal play, I will go to the bathroom and go poop. Get rid of everything I can that way. Then I will have an enema. I don't hold it very long at all. Usually about 5 minutes at most. I will then go back to the bathroom again. When I am sure everything is gone (about 20 minutes usually to make total sure), I will hop in the shower. If we are doing something more than a plug, I will sometimes use my finger inside myself to make sure I am clean, but otherwise, just washing and showering normally is fine.

When we do anal, we always have a towel down so that when we are done with a toy, we can put it right on the towel, just in case there is a bit of mess. But we have never really made a big mess.

Especially when travelling, I recommend eating properly and healthily. You want to make sure to have a balanced diet. You do not want to pass out. Try to stay away from really fatty or greasy foods. Eat protein and fiber. DRINK WATER!!! Being dehydrated is not good, and if you do an enema while dehydrated it will just absorb into your body rather than clean you out.

I know a little mess can be embarrassing, but it happens and there really is nothing you can do to prevent it completely.

There is no real need for an enema unless you happen to enjoy them. A douche beforehand clears out enough of the passage - lets be honest, you are only using the first few inches anyway, you don't need a colonic irrigation unless you are being pounded by a horse.

I agree, don't change your diet plan because that can actually make things worse!
I was going to comment that, but see that someone already did so now I'm the 2nd one to give this nugget of advice.

Yessss - the idea that you can and should be squeaky clean every time you do anal is either unrealistic or is going to severely limit when you can engage in the activity. Intensely preparing for it every now and then can be nice, especially to add to a power dynamic, but constantly keeping clean an area that was never meant to be clean isn't a healthy practice.
