I only do jobs when I can be arsed, I should point out. When I work, I don't have to do jobs. But when I have three days off, I have to help out for at least a day (hooooovering, dusting, polishing, cleaning, washing up etc).

I have to set the table, when we eat in the dining room, keep my room clean, dust, clean the counter/sink and mirror in the bathroom me and my brother shares (I don't touch the toilet), empty out the cat's litter box, and help cook from time to time.

I've been setting the table for 2 years now, we didn't have a dining room until we moved 2 years ago. Had to clean my room as long as I remember, same with dusting. Cleaning the bathroom, just started that 2 years ago. Out old house only had one bathroom, so either my mom or dad would clean it. The litter box, I do it once every 3 weeks, my mom and brother also help with that, and I have been doing that since I was like 10.

And cooking, I've known how to make scrambled eggs since I was 3, and since I was 12 I would help make no bakes and buckeyes at Christmas time(family tradition). Now around holidays I usually will either make a side dish or desert, and I cook my own breakfast when I actually eat one. I don't do laundry because my dad insists on doing it all himself, so who am I to say no

? But I do know how to use a washer, dryer, and iron, cause I have had to use them before.

And another thing I have to do, every other week I have to bring the trashcan up from the curb.

I always had to do chores and help my mum. When i was little i had to empty and stack the dishwasher and clean my room or get out the garbage. Now me and my sis do our own ironing and do the washing and drying together. My brother got the kitchen stuff now since he's younger

hmm I've ALWAYS had to do chores. From as early as I can remember I've had to pick up after myself. Especially when our family got bigger. ie.. When the sisters came along and my now "disowned" brother... Long story there. We had to clean up after ourselves. If wanted our clothes washed we had to do it ourselves. Forget lunch. we were sol if we expected someone else to make it. Both parents worked Full time. So we looked after each other and mama and daddy. Haha Cooking for them when they got home often. God only knows how some of those meals turned out.

But it was food and they never complained. I am happy for how many I had to do. Otherwise I never would have been able to figure out all I can do now. However I STILL can't cook... hmmm

Uhm,..

Start the dishwasher,
empty it,
set the table,
wash the dishes,
wash my own clothes,
vacuum,
clean the main bathroom,
hang loundry up,
take loundry down,
walk the dog,
cook (take turns),
+ anything else my rents makes me do. o.o

I do know how to iron, but I don't iron anything. :P

I am lucky, I don't really have to do anything... aparently school work comes before chores when other people can do them... which means I can just go on gD.

I do some stuff sometimes though...
Clean my room (VERY RARE)
Help do the shopping
Help put the shopping away
Squish the cans and bottles to recycle
Cook sometimes

I do everything except clean the bathroom and kitchen. Those jobs go to two of my housemates. I refuse to touch the bathrooms 'cause it makes me feel sick. (I'm in uni now, hence the housemates thing)

I can't believe some of you don't do anything... I've been helping out around the house since I was 11.

I like my chores, I weirdly enjoy them. It's probably because I like what a room looks like after it's clean. I don't do my ironing anymore because the ironing woman does that, which is great because ironing is not a chore I like.

Well I started doing chores when i was about 9-10 I think somewhere around that age.

I always had to clean the livingroom, my room, Kitchen, and the bathroom.
