I can imagine that it can be hard to separate these while in the lounge and speaking at the same time. This I think would make it easier for DJs to have contact with the listeners.

I had the same idea. A specific chat room for the radio only. Would work, but might take up more space, ram, memory, etc.

I thought about this as well but it would require users to go to another location as well, along with possibly having to re-register. However I do know depp is re-designing chat so when this is further along I may discuss with him the addition of a getDare Radio room but we will have to see where it goes.

As a quick update, the server now has a repeater server in the UK to cut down on lag a little for our out of the states listeners. We are still at a 25 listener limit since I have yet to see it hit that level.

You can suggest songs to the live DJs and I do accept requests for the autodj.

As a matter of fact... I am going to go on a huge autoDJ playlist update if you have a song you want to hear feel free to request it here. I will get to these as I get them until at least Sunday night.

Yes, on the website there is a link to the DJ schedule, it is in GMT.

getDare Radio is broadcasted to the end user through a shoutcast server, which they can listen to in a media player or the flash player I have on the site. As a DJ you need a program that will connect to the shoutcast server and allow you to broadcast out. For windows that program is winamp.

Just so everyone knows, I am not doing my show right now due to the lack of a working headset. I apologise for the inconvenience that it is causing everyone. As soon as I have a working headset again, I will be back on the air!
