Harry Potter vs. Twilight

I was going to doctor the poll to make sure that HP was in the clear majority, but then I saw that this website hadn't failed humanity and already knew how to vote.

4. Why? Much better story overall. I've read all four Twilight. It wasn't too bad. But nothing close to Harry Potter.

4. Why? - As a straight male.. it's hard to be a fan of twilight. but I AM! I'm a sucker for romantic crap and love stuff. kinda weird.. but I can't help it. XD
Also I pretty much fell in love with most of the characters in the books. But while I really do like twilight ( I think I've read through them.. 3 times?) I still like Harry Potter more. It was the first book I ever actually got into and introduced me into the world of reading. I've read Harry Potter like.. on average per book, maybe 6 or 7 times. It's a series that has everything. Plus magic. XD

(oh! and this has NOTHING to do with the movies. Twilight movies are.. not.. good. and harry potter movies are very good I guess.. but nothing compared to the books. Also I ignore the other fans.. twilight fans make me sick. harry potter fans just hate twilight fans. lol..)

5. Not about the books but would you rather be a sparkly vampire, a boiling werewolf or a magical wizard? (lol) - I hate the idea of sparkly vampires.. but in the books they seem so amazing.. so I'd pick that.

7. Twilight girls or Harry Potter girls (Miss out if this doesnt apply) - Twilight. I mean.. ginny (book!) seems awesome. Just my kinda girl. :P but Alice is great too. and then you add the other twilight girls and to me.. that's a win. ._.

8. Rowling or Meyer - oh please.. rowling.

9. Better written story? - HPizzle

10. Most gripping story? - gripping? ..I guess harry potter. It's not that bad of a match up though to me.

4. Why? HP is about overcoming obstacles and equality for everyone, an ideal I feel strongly about. Twilight is about an over dependent girl who obviously needs a spanking
