Ads? :S - Page 2

I usually get one a day, but sometimes I get one from sleep*something*....every time I go to a different page. It's quite aggravating but I don't think it's worth it to send a link to Depp.

Depp is the only person who has control over the ads, currently. However I can tell you this - ads should only come up once per visit. Depp told me he'd been tweaking the software, so please pm me or depp if you've been having trouble with the ads appearing more than once per day.
I know they're annoying, but they pay the bills, and maybe even show you something you'd like to see.

You should never see a fullpage ad more than once every 12 hours. If you can't skip the ad I would like to know ASAP because this is a serious problem and I would really appreciate you PM me the AD URL to check out. If the ads are coming up on every page view then perhaps your browser is not accepting cookies or you never clicked the skip button. The ad is set to come up on the third page you view but only once every 12 hours.

I am always very interested in hearing about problems with the ads so do not hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any problems or concerns.

With the new upgrade I will work on creating an ad-free membership level for a flat fee of $5. The ads suck but I have tried hard to make sure registered users only see only one ad per day. Guests hardly see any either. They just get a few text ads at the bottom of threads.

It seems alright now, i have gotten it twice, but that was about half an hour ago, and nothing else has come up so far.

Currently there are not very many. I don't want it to feel like their are two classes of users (besides those elite jerks!). On my list of things to do is implementing a system where you can donate about $5 and get ad-free access to the forums and front page.
