New here, have a few questions about master/slaves

Hello, I'm pretty new to this site and the whole master and slave/sub thing, and I have a few questions to ask the more experienced members here (who can hopefully help me out);

1. When people say they're looking for a slave or master, are they looking for one online or in-real-life? if online, how does that work, they can't actually be together, so how would you know he/she is doing what you're telling them to do?

2. I have also heard members saying it's not worth looking for a slave anymore as so many of them don't work out. So, is it just not worth looking for a sub on this site anymore?

well when they say looking 4 master/slave it tends 2 b online but depends, and if online the master gives the slave tasks and the save will do these on webcam or take photos, and there are alot more now but its still worth looking if u really do want 1

All I have known in the s/M scene so far has came from online relationships. And there are many ways of knowing the submissive has done what is asked of them. As much as it can't be a be all and end all trust is a big part of this. yea don't base everything on trust, but trusting that your submissive is doing what you ask them to and trusting that they WANT to serve you is greatly important. In a more physical way tho- as much as it has its limitations that you cannot actually be there with them to act out a command or walk them through it with them there is the option of reports, webcam or photographs to provide a solution to this issue. Most people stump for webcam or photographs as their preferred methods.

NOOOO for Christ sake do not listen to people like this! I'm sorry if that was a bit zealous but finding a 'worthwhile' relationship and a lasting one is not an immediate thing, there are plenty of people on this site, and I'm sure lots coming each day there will be someone out there for you if you have the patience to look for them. They may not even come where you're looking for them. many people find relationships totally at random and some of my better ones (yes under-age tut tut) have came when I have had no interest what soever in having one.

I always find this argument amusing. If you put work into finding a relationship with the right person, you will. Look at most of the ads in the s/M section and the reason some people say this will make sense. If you stick around the site and develop trust, your efforts *will* pay off.
