Hide Thread Updates?

Is there any way to hide certain threads from appearing every two seconds in 'Unread Posts'?

Jus' curious.

I could really use this. There's a lot of threads that I have no interests in, but are always getting posts.

Great. Now there are two threads.

I'm all for fun ... but posting numbers going up and down isn't fun. And I hope I'm not the only one annoyed about how many updates this gets and the fact it constantly appears in "Unread Posts". I don't mind when I log on to find 1000 unread posts because, usually, there are a good number of threads. But when I've clicked 'read all', to have 10 and 20 pop up all from that thread every five minutes ...

Don't apologise. I'm not really knocking it (well, I am a bit... yay post numbers); I just wanted to use the thread as an example as to why hiding certain thread updates would be good.

I completly agree. You could also make it where you can block everything from person above and the other things that us under 18 people cant post on. Cause if you cant post on it then I dont want to see it. Thanks and I understand if you are unable to get to this.
