February Dare of the Month - Self Love

One of the February Dare of the Month choices was titled: Self Love. The premise was that you would write positive, loving words on yourself and then treat yourself to some "loving".

I have a hard time saying positive things about myself, so what I did was think of 5 and then I created a thread where others would have the chance to leave me compliments.

I have been watching Christopher Robin today. If you haven't watched it, you absolutely MUST! It really is great. As I was sitting here giggling through the movie, I realized that I can really relate to Winnie the Pooh. In fact, I think he is my spirit animal.

Sloth Day!!!!

Today was one of the best days ever! I got to meet a sloth <3 I was so excited I was ready to burst. I almost cried when Chloe came on stage.

I am obsessed with sloths right now. I have FOUR sloth stuffies (Sunday, Bedhead, Sid and Flash). They are so adorable, but nothing compared to a real live sloth!

I have struggled a lot through the years with self image and loving myself. When all you hear is negative things about yourself, you have nothing else to believe. Those things you hear, they feel true, they become your reality.

I have always been fiercely independent. I needed to be. Growing up, I had adult responsibilities by the time I turned 10. I raised my newborn brother: bathed him, fed him, put him to sleep.
