Getting in early this week. I thought I'd have a nice seasonal one too.

Not sure if I did it the same way as in the presentation as I couldn't get it to load for some reason.

I love long socks, and think this has an awesome effect. I love how the colours stand out against the backdrop.

I went on trip last weekend and there was this really old building that was plain except for its cool blue door. I love this now with the new effect. I hope you do too! The trip was a lot of fun and this door a great find.

So I wanted to do this picture because I love the bright colors and thought it would look really good against the black and grey. And I used a program on my itouch called Color Splash to edit it...

I like Vimto, and I like the colours of them...I also really like this building.

There was a crane in the background, but I took it out, not sure if that's "legal", but yeah

I also really liked the way the different lines in the background run...some are at an angle...some are straight etc

It's quite boring and I doubt it will win. I've done better, but the photos weren't mine so I couldn't edit them.
Erm, I like yellow and I htink that colour splashing can look rally effective when you've got something that is typically really colourfulm, and you take out most of the colours. It's a bit of a shock to the system, if you know what I mean. Anyway, here it is.
I was going to do this post in yellow to match my pic, but it is very hard to read

Finally my picture ended up like this: A view through some glasses.
But I had some other ideas: I liked the idea of taking a photo of a beggar with a sign in his hands to put in colour, but I had no time to drive to town.
Besides the photo I posted here I took some other in the bus, construction side and university...
They were nice, but I decided to post this one, because it has a story.

The idea for this picture was rooted in thoughts about things that have borders and that are used to look through.

That’s why I tried to take this photo. Glasses – they were obvious
And so there’s a massage or story in my picture: I don’t have to wear glasses, but a lot of people have to. Problems with eyes are very common and it isn’t funny to be unable to see clear. That’s a circumstance my picture deals with. But on the other hand it deals with academic education or rather reading. And reading is an activity that is very important, even if media like computer and television are more interesting in the eyes of many young children.

So when I had to decide what I wanted to be seen through the glasses I was thinking about the sense of glasses, they are most important for reading. But in my opinion a book was too boring. Then I had the idea to go to the library in my university to take a photo with lots of books
(There was a guy passing by when I took the photo – what he thought would be interesting )

Finally I edited it to make all things besides the glasses grey (and out of focus to underline this aspect because that is what happen if you need glasses).
And the books stayed very colourful!

Due to some issues with the album I have created a blog to take its place- which will work better. And all the photographs will just be posted as comments. Its an unfortunate compromise but will work just as well.
