Hi

I don't know if it's just me or if other people would benefit from this too but I would have to say that getDare would be better if the stories and dares were categorized such as a section for Blackmail and Public and Diapers instead of having to search through all the forums to find what your looking for. This is just my input and probably wont make a difference (:

I do see what you're saying, but in most cases, there are many different "categories" in a single story. It would be tough to categorise all the stories accurately.

For example, you might know that a particular story contains something public, so you go into the public section, but it also contains humiliation. It has been filed in the humiliation section, instead of the public one, thus leaving you confused and story-less.

If you know briefly what you're looking for, you could try searching the tags?

Not everyone puts tags on their stories though

True...but maybe we should enforce putting tags on?

I think trying to enforce tags would be the best idea, but what about stories that contain 15 different categories. You can only have 5 tags.

What authors do on other sites is basically list all the areas that their story covers at the very top. Obviously not everyone will do this, and personally I don't want to go through every story demanding it etc etc. But I'll probably do it on my own in future.

Example:

Story title

M/f, bondage, blackmail, whatever.

Story~

Personally, when I write stories I usually don't have a plan as to what's going to be in it exactly, so that might be hard for some people.

And I agree with this completely. It's too difficult to put stories into sections, so far I haven't read a story that only sticks to one theme.

I think I might have worded what I meant wrong. I was thinking that the poster could choose catagories for their story. Like we have tags for new post there could be say 4 Tags for a story's catagory, but thats just a thought

Categorizing the stories makes sense, but there are stories which will fall under many categories. Even if they let a story be under more than one categories, BettyBoop's point is valid. People do not think of what exactly they'd write about.
May be they could let the poster decide and change the categories while writing the story. If that makes sense..
