Hi ive been a member for like 5 mounths just not really a huge poster c.c Anyways, Ive noticed alot of other dare websites have been banned? Is it possible this could happen to gerdare to

i cant see why this could be banned, it is not illegal and depp is clearly enforcing the age restrictions.

This site is pretty legit. I can't really see it being banned.

Warnings are made not to do any dares that are illegal, and there is strongly enforced age retriction. Plus, I clamp down on anybody asking to meet up and urge people strongly not to do so.

Sure some people will always frown upon a site that focuses on dares but that's just people's point of view.

what do you mean "banned"?

Do you mean banned from your school's intranet, or the entire internet?

If you mean the entire internet, can you give examples of sites that have been banned?

Let's get this straight. A website can be shutdown by a government authority. A website that is shutdown by a government authority, can't be accessed from anywhere, it doesn't exist on the internet.

On the other hand, if your school or ISP blocks websites, then it is only you who can't access that site, and it still exists on the internet. Other users from ISP's and countries can still access the site, and the website lives on.

I haven't noticed a single website being "banned" or inaccessible. Your school will most definatly block getdare due to its adult content.

I'm guessing that HCCmike means that it is taken down from vbullitens that they shut this site down, but I have seen others just like this site (but nowhere near as good) and they are still up so I'm sure that this site is fine.

Sites that are hosted by othersites can get shutdown by their hosts if they break the site rules. If you are using I donno myspace and postin porn, they can shut u down.
Same with other site hosting sites. But getdare is self hosting, that can'thappen
