What level do you usually play games at?

Talking about video-games where you can choose the difficulty level. What level do you usually play at?

I usually play at medium or easy. It depends on the game and how hard I wanna try beating it.

If it frustrates me too much, I change it to easy, cos I play games more for the fun of it, instead of the difficulty of it. I've realized that I like games more when they aren't too hard to solve.

What about you?

Really depends on the game... i try to find the setting that is challenging ... so i tend to end with medium to hard...

I usually set it to either easy or medium depending of the game. Exceptionally, all tennis video games I've played I have used the hardest level & got bored with them anyways since it was still too easy...

The problem with me is that I'm too impatient to find out what happens further in the game. So in my world:

Easier game=Faster progress= less time to spend getting to the next part.

For me a game gets interessting if i need minimum 1 week just to understand it ... i prefer them as complex as posible

I never play easy! I'll satrty on medium and once I know what I'm suposed to do to complete levele I start trying hard diffuculties, either that or my game gets shoved in the back of my colest never to be found again.

Mostly medium (although I barely play games with difficulty settings; RPGs rarely have any). I recently started playing Odin Sphere, which is already enough of a challenge for me on Medium...

Easy to complete quicker. Then harder because I know what I'm aiming for, and it's the game to do more challenging things!

Why should i want to get through a game quicker? If it is fun, why rush? if i have to rush, where is the fun...

I meant, you play games for fun and not to get annoyed and frustrated. Play easy to get thru it and have a laugh, then harder to actually challenge yourself

There are very few games, besides of tactic games, that are worth to play more than one time, so ...
But i agree, if i get to annoyed i tend to lower the difficulty too...

Usually normal. If I'm playing it again I sometimes try it on hard.

ATM, I'm replaying Tiberian Sun and just going through it on easy though. The early missions are boring, so I want to get to the fun ones before going to hard.

Not even for bathroom duties, and to cut a little hole for 'nr 2' as I couldnt remove them . It was strange.
