Stories that are never finished.

I am sooo irritated with people who start a story in the "truth or dare stories" forum on getdare.com and

NEVER FINISH THE STUPID STORY.

I think that u should not put on a story unless u have finished it in advance.

Is there someway we can delete these threads. OK um people please comment on this thread.

What if the person wants to finish the story later?

(Like me!)

Plus... if it's a stupid story.... it shouldn't be worth finishing.

I can assure you that all my stories will end up finished, because I enjoy writing

About a year or two ago I began writing stories. I thought they were fun, but like 90% of the stories that are written, I started with an opening idea, got so far and got bored because I hadn't thought of how to progress from there. In fact, I got to a point where I had to create a new story because what I had written for one, just didn't work!

I recently wrote a new story. It's darker than I first meant it to be, but I have decided from now on, I won't unleash a story untill it's finished. That story was fairly short compared to others and I posted it straight off. I would never stagger a release of a story if I had written it all.. I know I've read some stories and thought "that's really good, need to keep reading that one" and just never have. If I ever write a story and post before I've finished it, I will definitely finish it (not including events out of my control eg death)

So at least from me, when I release a story you will get the start, the middle and the end

Not that you will probably see it seeing as you were banned.

This post is more food for thought for story writers. There are a few posters above me which know what to do, but aimed at people that aren't sure, don't just start typing away, think carefully about what you want to happen in your story and where it's going to go. The reason so many stories simply stop is that the writing is a fantasy of the writers and they start, do the fantasy and have no more.
