Memorial Day Dare
I have a special memorial day dare for everyone in the states and elsewhere if they want to:
I dare everyone to spend time reflecting on the sacrifices made by those who died in service to their country. If you're the praying type say a prayer for them if not simply turn your thoughts to them. If anyone here has served or has family that has served or died feel free to post here and receive they're proper props. Quote:

We went to see my grandad yesterday at his grave. He's been gone 7 years now. He went to the Pacific and took part in a lot of the bigger battles, and he even managed to bring home a Japanese officer's sword lol. Also, two uncles and two aunts all went to Vietnam, and they all made it back, thankfully. We spent the day with them celebrating the fact that they're still here and able to tell their stories (slightly embellished, of course). It was a fun day. Of course, today's Memorial Day, but everyone had to go to work and was just generally busy. Still, I do thank them every chance I get and ask them for stories. I love my family.
