Just downloaded teamveiwer, looking for soemone to help me out and show me how it all works. can't really work it out just yet, i am sure its easy, i just cant work out what each bit means.

any help and i would be very greatful.

Teamviewer is very easy to use. In order for either you to view someone else's screen or someone to view yours, both of you have to download the program.

If you want to connect to someone else's computer to control it, they need to give you their ID number and password, if they set one up. Their ID number will be on the left portion of the program with they open it, with "Your ID" to the left of it. They will also need to give you the password if they set one up.

You'll then enter their ID number in the space on the right of your program, under "Partner ID". Type that in and be sure the "Remote Control" radio button is selected. Then click the "Connect to Partner" button and enter the password if they have one. If you are successful, a new window will appear with your partner's screen, and you'll be able to control anything there! The great thing is that they can control the mouse as long as you aren't moving it, so if they want to learn on their own just through coaching, you can see what they do and advise them rather than just do it for them.
