How do you add a thanks button to a post?

You can't add a thanks button. It automatically appears for the first post of each thread. That is the only one you can thank.

The thanks button does not show in some sections (like here in the getDare.com section). You can't add it, it shows when avaliable. If there is a section you think needs it that currently lacks it, let me know.
