This is like facebook, when a person likes a thread instead of them commenting telling everyone tey like it, they could just click the "like" button, would save time and posts

Because facebook is a kind-of good and well established website. It has a lot of features, including many that we don't want, and also has a few things that would be an awesome addition to getDare. And actually, this is the second (or third) person to suggest a feature from facebook. The first being me.

Sounds like the thread rating feature to me. It's a very underused item at the top of every thread.
