- Cafe, parties, bars, nightclubs, or wherever my friends are.

- Beer, Captain Morgan spiced gold(rum) and coke, Homemade hot n sweet, sambucca, white/red wine, coffee and baileys, Long island ice tea and occasionally a mango or strawberry daiquiri on a really hot summer day. Ohh and mulled wine during Christmas.

- I don't drink like whiskey and cognac on the rocks, but not cosmopolitan and Smirnoff ice either. So no.

I only drink socially and never in excess. One or two shorts is my limit or 1 larger shandy .I see no point in drinking in excess getting drunk feeling ill and not having a memory to what happened and most times I am driving. so wont drink and drive .

I enjoy it. I usually drink with meals, but I also will drink in social situations. (I rarely drink to the point of being drunk.)

At what age did you start drinking?
16 (the legal drinking age where I lived was 18 at the time -- remember, I am middle-aged)

Partly social and partly experimental and partly just being a teenager.

Oh, probably a little bit, but I actually wanted to.

Where do you usually drink?
Wherever... I drink at home and I drink out. At home I usually have wine with a meal (sometimes a beer instead -- in summer probably more often a beer, you know, cooking on grill, eating on our back deck). When we are out for dinner or just in a pub I will most likely have a beer (yes, I am in the US but the bars we go to tend to be pub style places so I think of them as being pubs not bars) We like places that have extensive beer menus with good craft beers not the factory crap. (I can't resist the joke: Why is drinking American beer like making love in a canoe? They're both fucking near water.)

How often?
If we are out with friends I will probably have two beers. If it is an evening of drinking and I am not driving I might have a third. (The last time we were at a party I drank four beers. It was in our neighborhood so no driving was involved.)

What do you usually drink?
Usually either beer or wine. I am not big on mixed drinks. I might have one once in a great while if I am "out with the girls" but I really enjoy good beer.

(Well, except for your first question -- that should have been "drunk" not "drank" because you put "Have" in there. It probably would have been better framed in the present: "Do you drink?")
