Just out of curiosity - on Vognor-7 do you also prefer to extend experiments to "test to destruction" level? If not, I recommend it. Highly entertaining as well as educational.

What's funny is that many chatbot AIs tend to get in to a stage where they recycle the statements that got them the most "reactions." That's why Microsoft's Tay, the "teen" chatbot AI, started spouting racist, neo-nazi statements. It's not so much that people taught it those things -it's that when it said those things, people reacted the most. And the poor chatbot was incentivized on reactions.

Not that I am implying that this explains LPV's behavior. It could be aliens.

As far as populists and "nationalists" go, I have no respect for people who are afraid of a skin color or a different accent. Xenophobia is a stone age instinct, and has no place in a global society today.

It's seems mostly marketing, and one needs to be a smart and responsible consumer and consume online data selectively after reasoning and conscientiously. Once they get less coverage the 'chat bots' will not be incentivised..lol

Yeah. A recent test-to-destruction experiment seemed to show interesting tendencies in test subjects, who were exposed to the conditions Wolf described. The scientists on Vognor-7 are pretty rigorous in their standards, it seems.
