Do you guys not worry that this site maybe under constant watch from police against child groomers/pedofiles/creeps? It's a perfect place for pedos to sit and get a victim..

I've cut back my usage on here, stopped doing dares and stopped with m/s because frankly, i don't know who/what to trust. After i get a good response i won't be coming on ehre again.

Mods, what are your views and other GD users?

Why would we be worried? I guess Depp maybe worried as he is responsible for the site but I know I have and another mod have reported users to the police.

Unfortunately whilst we do ban paedophiles when we come across them, some users know perfectly well that they're speaking to someone who may constitute a paedophile but don't care and even go as far as protecting them. Even when the mods try to "educate" these users, they don't listen and get themselves in silly messes.

Only when the police knock on their doors and inform their parents of their "activities" do they actually listen.

That's why we have rules. I've seen alot of people on the ban list "soliciating an underage user".

But it's all on Depps head. Since he owns the site and its servers.

They may check the site out, but its been going a long time now and as long as its nothing completely illegal then its tough to shut down.

The site is doing nothing wrong. We ban users who try to solicit sex; we ban users for posting pornographic pictures of themselves; we ban users who have come here to look at underage users inappropriately. Are there people here that are bad people? Possibly. But we don't promote them in anyways and try to stop it as much as we can. Right here says enough

The site has nothing to do with the users. If you can't trust people, simply don't talk to them.

It's rather moronic to leave a site because you have insecurities... kinda like giving up vegetables 'cause an animal might have pissed on them. Just don't talk to people you can't trust, or is it the entire forum, and every single user on it, that you don't trust? In which case, there was no point asking our opinion, because you can't trust our opinions. =)

You should feel safe thinking that someone is doing what they can to get the rapists and pedofiles off of getDare. Plus, if you aren't doing anything illegal, you have nothing to worry about. The police won't arrest you for not doing anything wrong.

Personally, if I was worried about the site, I would be more worried about the pedofiles and the ones out to get me than the ones trying to protect me.

Well, the mods are very strict to stop anything illegal that it could be claimed that we are 'supporting' by contributing to this site, so we should be OK

I think that Depp has already notified the police about it. I reckon that the police are on this site as well as some member/MOD making sure everything goes to plan. I think that if a member joins and mentions to depp that they are a member of the police and would like to control bannings etc then Depp would have to do something.

maybe the FBI are on the site and they are outside everyones house incase you do something illegal. Or they aren't. Im sure Depp is very tough and strict about these issues. He is like a super hero, think about. During the day he fixes problems and upgrades software, During the night he is cleaning up the streets of get dare with his super human powers.

Why would this stop you from coming on? If you don't trust a user, don't hook up with them. If you don't believe them, find someone else. It's no different offline or on any other website.
