As I was saying it was the last day of school, everyone in this year group were going to graduate today and take their journeys beyond, safe to say very few of them were going to college, most had no plan other than to work in the local businesses of this rather backwater town...

There had actually been a bit of a plot for a few weeks now that on the last day they were going to embarrass Abigail, ruin her graduation...and they hoped to make her cry, to break down and run home missing the ceremony altogether

The plan had come together at lunchtime, the students had all made sure to get extra large helpings of the terrible school dinners they had been subjected to for years now

As Abigail was walking to her usual table in the corner of the room she had been stopped by Charlotte and Becky, they had grabbed her arms causing her lunch tray to fall to the floor, splattering the contents all over it...then student after student had walked up and done their worst...

They had dumped lumpy dessert over her head, smashed handfuls of mashed potato soaked in gravy over her uniform, rubbed custard up and down her legs, filled her pockets with peas and beans, some had even squirted bottles of sauce down the front of her shirt...this bombardment had gone on for several minutes now, she was covered from head to toe in the mess and she had just stood there and took it...

As the students admired their work of modern art, laughing, cheering and high fiving each other one thing was on the back of their minds...why didn't she fight back? Why was she just standing there? Why didn't she try to escape? But ultimately they didn't care, they had their fun...they had humiliated her as much as they could have gotten away with...the bell rang to signal the end of lunch, the students filed out of the room laughing, showing off the pictures and videos they had taken and were already bragging about how they were going to make them go viral online...
