A house has 4 walls. All of the walls are facing south, and a bear is circling the house. What color is the bear?

If all four directions are south then the house has to be at the North Pole. Bears in that region could be polar bears so my guess is white!

From town C, the train changes direction 45 degrees clockwise and heads towards town D, while the wind changes direction 45 degrees counter-clockwise. In which direction is the smoke from the train blowing?

Oops, I missed Nina@'s riddle.

Here's another one:

Two fathers and two sons go on a fishing trip. They take a six-pack of beer with them. After lunch, they each drink a can of beer. They don't share the beer, and they each finish their can. In the afternoon, they each drink a can of beer again, without sharing.

Knowing that they took only one six-pack, how could this happen?

I'm no good at riddles, but I'll take a stab at it.

The answer is 3 times.

First, take the 8 balls and divide into two groups of 4. Weigh them. One set will weigh more. Those 4 balls are now the active group for testing. (1 Time)

Second, take those 4 balls and divide into two groups of 2. Weigh them. One set will weigh more. Those 2 balls are now the active group for testing. (2 Times).

Finally, weigh the two balls against each other. You now have the answer. (3 Times).

Good answer but it can be done in fewer number of trials. Now the answer is pretty obvious so need explanation too
