Photography OMG - Page 2

I like photography but unfortunately i own a butt-ish camera. But i'm getting a good one for my b-day. Can't decide between a Nikon D3000 or the Cannon EOS 1000D. Any suggestions?

I have the 1000d and as much as a lot of people say that the Nikon has easier functionality I vastly prefer the Canon, couldn't grasp the way the Nikon worked at all. Honesyly I suggest you go to the store and try both of them. see how easy it is to turn it on and get to a point where you can take a photo ect. I do adore my canon though.

I spent about 3 weeks trying to chose which one I wanted, having the idea I wanted a better camera for about 5 month.

I like photography very much, but unfortunately I have crappy eyes and clumsy hands whenever I'm around a camera: pictures never turn out the way I wanted them.

But as always (these days) Internet is there to save me: there are hundreds of websites with thousands of photographers shooting millions of wonderful pictures. That is all I need (well, more time to browse them all)

The last couple of months I "specialised" in Artistic Nudes. It is simply amazing how many really really good pictures are made in that area.

I love photography, my camera is only a point and click fuji film one but it is good and serves a purpose. So I don't really need another one.

I adore photography... I'd call myself an amateur photographer, and I plan on going to college for it.
