I actually despise being called babe! It feels patronising and I banned my ex from calling me it! :P I only have some pet names, mostly with my best friend, but then it's just funny and not creepy . . .or overly cute!

I quite hate being called babe. I don't even know why but I just have to cringe everytime I get called that. Forbid the boyfriend from calling me that just so I wouldn't hate him for it.

It annoys me when some guy i barely knows comes up and say "hey babe" or anything like honey ect. but with my boyfriend its ok, but i still dont like it, just doesnt bug me as much.

I don't think any girl really likes being referred to as "babe" by a stranger. I certainly don't. From my boyfriend, sure, but even he doesn't usually call me that. It's usually either "honey" or "beautiful" which is fine (: hahah.
