I think it's interesting how people use a punishment to make them productive. If you're coming on the board and asking for a punishment in order to make you productive then it just seems pointless. Am I wrong? Maybe I'm just thinking about it the wrong way.

Well sometimes its motivation to do something productive. For example saying that for every hour that someone isn't working etc then they have to do a certain task...would certainly make me a bit more productive if I knew I had to do it. The point of a punishment here is thats its something that the person would rather avoid doing if they had the chocie...
