I've noticed we have a lot of animal-themed usernames on gD, so this is a thread for anyone with an animal in their username to post and maybe say how their name comes about.

I'll start my own thread off by saying I'm OwlArt, and I picked up the name many years ago by drawing cartoons of owls!

I am Butterfly. Butterflies have a lot of meaning to me. A lot is sentimental because of my nana who passed away. She really started my obsession with Butterflies when I was about 5 or 6 years old when she gave me a butterfly wind chime.

I also love the symbolism of butterflies. The transformation and beauty. I always aspired to be a butterfly.

I just wanted a cute name, and I liked kitty play. That's about it :P

Over time it kind of became my brand, and here we are.
