[Non-Fiction] Fivers and freezing: Dare card game with my cousin

I've just started writing this, but I'm posting this to try and force myself to keep going rather than writing it all and then posting (which I know I'll never get around to)

It is as far as I can make it a true story of a game that took place very recently. I won't make things up but; my memory isn't too perfect, alcohol was (predictably) involved, identifying details have been changed and parts will be altered where needed to make it flow as a story.

There will be mild sex talk at a few points, but no sexual activity whatsoever (thank god) so if that's what you're into this may not be quite your thing.

This is my first story, but feel free to comment, praise and critique as complimentary and negatively as possibly- I try to take valid criticism on-board, and if you're flaming will just ignore it to be completely honest.

I'm not going to post our ages, as I prefer when reading other stories to age up or down anyway- if you're dying to know then look at my profile, and my cousin is slightly younger.

Prologue:

I was staying at my grandparents for a few days having just finished a summer job and before starting another job. My cousin and I had played poker just once before on holiday, including dares but not for money (A possible prequel to consider, but not interesting as the present story.)

A few weeks before we had been talking about poker games, so since we would for once be in the same place we tried to arrange to both stay at my grandparents at the same to play- this involved some clever game-playing on our parts as since they drink and gamble themselves, we didn't exactly want them crashing the party.

The night of the game we had all come back from the pub and despite having eaten just hours before, my grandparents ordered a curry takeaway. Whilst we ate my cousin and I began to quietly discuss the stakes for the game away from their tiring ears. Finally around 10.30 they said goodnight and we could get started. My cousin had brought the poker chips, and I went outside to the car to get the lager I'd bought for our consumption.

"So, I said, what I was thinking is three cash hands, fiver each" I didn't want to risk much more given my finances, "With three dare rounds in between- Dare round then cash and so on"

He said nothing so I continued "First dare round is truth or dare poker, no nudity, nothing outside. Second dare round is nothing upstairs, no pain. Final round no limits except illegal and disgusting stuff."

He nodded, "Ok, sounds good"

As we sorted the chips (three piles of five chips- values of 1, 2 and 5) and I at least began to think up some questions to cover the inevitable truth round- his phone rang, beginning a night of wins and losses, annoyance and laughs, cold and colder and impending problems with a very messed up young girl.
