My actual point was that if, as you seem to be arguing, jesus was so forgiving that he would die in order that we be forgiven- then your other point, that when he comes back he's going to kill all the non-believers and sinners, seems a bit contradictory, since killing us all doesn't seem very forgiving, especially if he died once in order to forgive us already

In fact if jesus does come back, under your argument, he should die again so that we can be forgiven again, because he's so forgiving.

So he's not all about love then- he's about love on the condition that you believe and act exactly how he tells you to? I see- Jesus is a one man totalitarian state- Stalin could have learnt a lot from him clearly.

The whole thing about repenting is nuts- no matter what i've done, it's fine so long as I ask for forgiveness? So murderers and war criminals go to heaven so long as they say sorry to god, whereas anyone who has been charitable, good and selfless dies just because they happened not to believe in the bible's mumbo jumbo?

I don't see why anyone would want to go to heaven (if it even existed) anyway- the idea of eternity is so incredibly dull, and paradise is relative so eventually heaven would be hell because there would be no escape.

I adore you right now. What I bolded, is awesome. True, if Hitler repented he'd be okay. But if someone who'd done nothing but good their whole life, only they didn't believe in God, didn't repent, they'd burn forever.
