The Crystal (Dare) Maze

Be warned, this isn't a quick one, but it is based on The Crystal Maze.

For those of you who don't understand what on earth it is, it's a game made up of a series of tasks, and is based on the French programme Fort Boyard (apparently). There are four zones, and you have to do three or four games in each zone to a total of 14 games. If you successfully complete a game, you earn a crystal and that translates to 5 seconds in the Crystal Dome.

In this version, you need to play a total of 10 games, at least 2 from each zone - so in two zones you will have to play 3 games. The idea is to play it much like the game its based on and pick the type of game blind, then rollover the spoiler section to get the game. For each game you complete successfully, you get a crystal - the crystals become useful in the "Crystal Dome" at the end.

You are locked in if you fail to complete the task (game) in the time or are doing one with an automatic lock-in and fall foul of that. You get out by returning a crystal AND doing a lock-in dare

Games are set out as follows:

EQUIPMENT

TIME: duration of dare. If you fail to complete it in the time, you are locked in.

THE GAME
Instructions for the game are listed. Completing it according to the instructions gains you a 'crystal'

Zone 1

Lie on the floor in the middle of the room. The time starts at this point. The aim is to free yourself - you can't move the boxes from the centre of the room, so you have to move around trying to get the right key to unlock various bits.

Thank you for the feedback, both from those of you who did this (mostly in private) and people who just liked it. Having had a think about it, I've come up with themes for the zones for this next installment. These zones are themes, not necessarily the place to do them (unless otherwise stated). The rules are as before - select at least 2 from each zone, coming to a total of 10.

I have altered it so that the equipment list out of the spoiler, so you can use that as a criteria for deciding (since people looked through them to see what they needed last time). I have also added a category in one zone (Messy)

I think we could turn it into show much more interesting than the repeats of the Crystal Maze which are on at the moment. If anyone does turn it into a private TV show for their friends, let me know how it went!

Zone 1 - Kitchen
