Yes I do, I am home alone often and I have two dogs. So usually I start talking to them when i come home from school or when I need company. Like how was your day? and what did you do? you had fun? True they don't talk back, they just sit there and watch you in a weird way :P but yeah it does help sometimes to talk to them.

I always say hello to my piggies went I get home and then I ask them how their day was and ask them if they are hungry. They start squeaking after that question so I think that's talking back to me. ;D

I kind of do. Like if a squirrel is crossing the road, I'll say something like "Run, little squirrel before you get run over." My most common occurrence though is me talking to my cat. She'll meow at me and I'll usually converse with her for a little bit. She'll meow, and I'll say, "I don't know what you're saying." She'll meow again and then say, "Look I told you I don't know what you're saying I don't speak Meowineese." Then she'll meow again and I'll just meow at her and she'll usually leave me alone once she's petted or fed whichever one of those she's asking for. I can guess though if I had more human friends that I could hang out with I probably wouldn't talk to my cat.
