getDare grows!

There will some downtime for about 30 minutes today while getDare is moved to a bigger and more powerful server. Not only should this make pages load faster on fast connections but getDare will now be carbon neutral. A minimum of 110% of our data center's carbon footprint is offset in a variety of ways including reforestation projects.

This upgrade is due to recent site growth and a slight increase this year in advertising dollars. Next year will bring a lot of cool changes to getDare and this is only the very beginning.

must say i am excited.. not that i really understand what carbon neutral stuff and such is but the changes next year i might notice

It is nice that Depp cares so much about us. And I REALLY like the fact you took steps to reduce your carbon footprint. You care about us AND the future of the planet!

getDare is my playground. What I get out of it is having a place to play and have fun. I also meet a lot of cool people here
