Default help keep me motivated :)

Hi all,

I'm currently on break from university for another week and I'm trying to get a lot of reading for my degree's capstone research paper done before classes start again. I have hundreds of pages of reading and note taking available that I'd like to get done in the next week. But I'm having some challenges with staying motivated (I've already read hundreds of pages and I'm starting to get burnt out).

What I'm looking for:
- rewards for reaching certain page amounts
- punishments for not reaching certain page amounts in a certain amount of time (I'm averaging about 15 pages an hour because I'm taking notes)
- things to do to myself while reading

rewards can include:
- timed play time (with or without cumming, i'm really bad at edging though)
- overturning a punishment
- open to ideas

punishments can include:
- spanking (hand, phone cable, or spoon on ass, pussy, or inner thigh)
- food denial (I will only do a safe amount of this)
- sleep deprivation (no less than 4 hours a night)
- gym time (walking, weights, sauna only)
- if you have other ideas, suggest it and I may do it

things to do can include:
- pee holding
- water consumption (I have a half liter bottle to use)
- sitting on my vibrator (it's hand sized and it fits my body perfectly to vibe all my most sensitive parts)
- open to suggestions

my nipples are numb from top surgery, so no nipple/chest play please. feel free to message me on kik if you're interested in having more control over me than just a few suggestions here

Giving advice to help motivate someone without knowing them is tricky. Even just speaking for myself, I've found it difficult to find tricks to motive me that can't backfire (punishments generally just discourage me further and make me even more unproductive; rewards work slightly better). That being said, here are a few ideas for you. Hopefully at least one is useful!

Denying yourself food or sleep is probably a bad idea if you're trying to read/study. However, I came up with a variation on those ideas that you may like:

If you live with someone, buy some sort of edible treat for yourself that you really like and that someone you live with likes as well. Set a reasonable goal for yourself that will take you at least half a day (but can be more long term if you want). If you achieve your goal you can eat the treat, but if you don't make it, the other person gets to eat it instead.

Set a time that you think you should be awake that you would not consider to be "sleeping in". Then, set a goal to have at least "X" number of pages read before you go to bed that day. If you surpass your goal by at least 5 pages, you may sleep as long as you like. If you make your goal but don't exceed it by more than 5 pages, wake up at the planned time. If you don't make your goal you must wake up 5 minutes earlier for each page short you are of your goal. Just don't do this multiple days in a row if it starts making you lose too much sleep.

Another idea I came up with involves light bondage (which is something I enjoy). The point of this is two-fold - the bondage makes it a little harder to get distracted by things because it makes you stay where you are and it motivates you to do your work so that you can take it off. I like to do something simple like tying my ankles together or tying my waist to my chair. It doesn't have to be tight - just enough so that it will require a little effort to get up/walk off. If you don't have anything you can use to tie yourself up, you can just tie your shoelaces together or something. Alternatively (or together with this), you can drink water periodically and not let yourself pee until you've gotten to a certain point in your studying. I'll note that for everything in this paragraph you may want to consider stopping if the task ends up being more distracting than motivating (which often happens to me).

I'll add one more thing: I don't know your physical abilities, but adding an exercise-related punishment could actually be really useful as long as you don't exhaust yourself. The exercise may actually lead you to have more energy and help you stay alert and focused longer once you get back to work. At my work I often take 5 minute breaks to stretch or walk around my office for just this reason.

Anyway, I hope something here helps! Let me know if you decide to try anything and what you think!

I find that both seem to work for me, but just in very different ways. That being said, here are a few ideas for you. Hopefully at least one is useful!

Denying yourself food or sleep is probably a bad idea if you're trying to read/study. You're probably right, but it's still fun However, I came up with a variation on those ideas that you may like:

Set a reasonable goal for yourself that will take you at least half a day (but can be more long term if you want). If you achieve your goal you can eat the treat, but if you don't make it, the other person gets to eat it instead. This one isn't really doable for me because, while I do live with someone, we don't really interact much and we eat totally different things

I'll note that for everything in this paragraph you may want to consider stopping if the task ends up being more distracting than motivating (which often happens to me). I've used this in the past, but as I'm taking notes on my computer on what I'm reading, I find that I get distracted on the internet...usually on something porn related tbh...this definitely works if i'm not on the computer though

I agree that exercise is a great way to get more energy and focus, but I'm not sure if it should be a punishment or reward as I actually like going to the gym...

Anyway, I hope something here helps! Let me know if you decide to try anything and what you think!
Thank you SO MUCH for all your ideas
