Default Eurovision song contest

Wondered what your views on the Eurovision 2010 song contest were.

What do you think of Germany the eventual winner?
What do you think of UK finishing bottom?
What do you think of UK getting into double figures?
Why did France not win?
Greaham Norton presenting?

These are just some of the questions that you can answer.

DISCUSSION NOW OPEN!!!

What do you think of Germany the eventual winner?

I didn't hear much but didn't like what I did

What do you think of UK finishing bottom?

Can anyone say they were really suprised, 1) we were crap. 2) we never do well because it is no longer a singing contest it is a political agenda. People vote for the countries they will gain most from or the ones on their borders. So not to mention we are crap at singing but fail on the political side. OMG we lost, I am so shocked

What do you think of UK getting into double figures?

Baffling.

Why did France not win?

Haha

Greaham Norton presenting?

Didn't see it

Germany's song was alright; I preferred Belgium, but it's not like Germany didn't deserve to win.
The UK always loses; but I've never seen a year when I thought we deserved to win. I don't think it's political voting either any more - personally, I thought the Lloyd Webber song the other year was pretty awful, and that did decently. But this year we were crap so it's hardly a surprise.
I was a bit annoyed to come behind Spain though, which was absolutely horrific.
France were alright, but it's their World Cup song so I'm obliged to hate it.

And Graham Norton is funny

I loved graeham, he was soooo funny. My mum and I were just laughing at the prospec of him being kicked out of the building because it was all soooo offensive to the countries and the people who were reading the results lol x

We did well last year but that was down to shameful over-promotion as Webber headed out to all the countries and pleaded for votes. This year, we sucked. Last year, we sucked. Scooch... kill me now.

It's more of how shit the UK can do now really. The lower, the better

I don't think the failure of Britain was because of our song - it wasn't bad. The reason we have no chance of winning is because of political alliances that run throughout the former Soviet countries

Only time when i was right was back in 2006. FINLAND! FTW!

Eh, I liked Germany's song, them, Greece, or Belgium, would have been fine as the winner in my eyes, france didn't win because the only good thing about the song was the overly energetic macarena dance :P

As for us, eh, it's political, naturally we won't do that well, we're an island, we have no borders determined to keep us happy, thus we get no votes, but, we probably get one of the better presenters, Norton did a great job, not sure he's a replacement for Wogan, but he made me larf, and I actually enjoyed his commentary.

I thought the Ukraine song was great, best vocals I have heard in a while, surprising since it was Eurovision.

Doesn't matter how good your song was it was down to politics. Germany at the minute haven't gone into melt down so therefore it's a type of bribery although it sounds pathetic that's what it was. None of this soviet rubbish just down to money. That been said loved the Spanish invasion!
