You have reached the infamous 63rd wave. The big boss, Jad appears. You pray to Guthix for protection from magic, but too late. Huge rocks fall on your head and you are forced to try again...

boo
But then I hid a brown easter egg in the toilet.
The egg hunt was for 5-7year olds.
It's insight like this that makes my blog valuable.Posted 04-13-2009 at 05:45 AM by Zeromus -

I do not advise
That you post a secret
For though it seems wise,
You will soon regret
Exposing your soul
To the internet folk:
They'll swallow you whole
And make you a joke.Posted 01-19-2009 at 09:02 PM by Hampers -
Thinking,
It's a dare-based site but I use it as the total opposite. I'm planning a big Lounge thread (not a game, don't worry) but I'm into that side. That's the thing. getDare is like a country - there's Dare Town, Lounge City, SM Prison... whatever. It's more of a community now than a simple "dare me, dared you" place. But I'm rambling again about nothing much xDPosted 12-30-2008 at 06:22 AM by Davros -
Thinking,
strangely enough it does, and i see the sense of what you are saying. I can't help to notice the irony when people come for dares then stay for the socialization... meh, i guess ill shut upPosted 12-30-2008 at 06:09 AM by Zeromus -
Thinking,
Are you referring to your "Looking" thread? If so, maybe it's because you're requesting dares. Well, you're accepting truths as well but that's only announced on one line so people may've missed that. And you know the rest - it's harder (imho anyway) to give dares than to give truths. It's nothing to do with popularity - I thought, because Chole's a mod, that she'd get loads of replies and I'd just get the typical page or two.
As I've said before, some threads get 10 replies where some may get 100. If you want a bigger response, what I'd do is cut out the "dare request" bit and focus (like me and Chloe) on truths because they're just as fun (and easier for people replying). It'll also help you get to know more people and it's an awesome chance to have a laugh. I feel like I've made better bonds through my Q&A because it's all truth-based. Anyone can give a "give yourself a wedgie" dare, but questions are more in-depth and fun.
I'm rambling now, but I hope this helps

Thinking,
Hey... people like you. Your truths are just extra special and people try to consider better responses to them.
You ask ahead of what people think.Posted 12-30-2008 at 04:52 AM by LilAngel -
GetRenaisance!
To some end I agree, you're as much a part (or more ) of this site as anybody, and you're quite clever.Posted 12-09-2008 at 08:45 PM by Zeromus -

i'm done with uni now and need a job that pays.
My summer;
Spent a month and a half working as an actor at the edinburgh festival.
Good because it's work in the industry i want to go into, and i love and i can't imagine doing anything else. Bad, i now have no money.
Got with tempered_sugar, good good good. Zowie.Posted 08-30-2008 at 03:00 AM by Sum -

Depp, the best fact is that you know you CAN, although unfortunately CAN can't fix it. (kudos on the idea though)
About part 2 I'm sure you'll find a use for it.
and for number 3, AMAZING, and when you do finish, EVERYBODY will say the same.

Was it REALLY worth it?
1. Built a hand held touchscreen lie detector from scratch with no plans (was worth it until I broke it)
2. Tried to get into screen printing (was too afraid of the chemicals to give it a serious shot. I have a ton of wasted equipment sitting around now.)
3. Built a framework for the next generation of getDare.com (dragged my feet and now with school don't know when I will finish it, I can honestly say it was worth it though)Posted 08-29-2008 at 04:56 PM by depp -
