For a lot of my life I have been belittled. I have been told I am not good enough: I am ugly, fat, selfish, a bitch, a whore, a cunt. It started with my dad when I was about 9 or 10 and continued until I moved out of his house at the age of 16.
It is no wonder that I had bad self esteem and low self worth. Which played really well when I got into a 6 year relationship with a man who was over controlling and who figured out really quickly that I would do anything for a bit of assurance...

As I have mentioned in my previous blog, I have been attending counselling. The main reason I went was to help get my anxiety under control. I have been to counselling a few times throughout my life (probably closer to 12-15 different counsellors), but it was never something that lasted more than a few sessions. I always felt as though the counselor would help me put out a “fire” and then release me back into the world.
While this was helpful, it never really resolved the underlying issues....

This is a really hard blog for me. I am very self concious about my feet. They are not small and dainty like some girls feet. I got my feet from my dad. They are thick, wide and long with short, stubby little toes.
On top of this, I also have a skin condition called Schamberg Disease. It isn't harmful, but it also isn't pretty. It leaves my feet spotted with rust colored spots.

Today Daddy and I put up our Christmas tree and decorated the house for Christmas. It was a lot of fun. I have some very special ornaments on my tree, but some of my favorites are the butterflies, Rapunzel, Eeyore and our engagement ornament.
Also, this year Daddy bought me a new ornament. It is Ariel from The Little Mermaid!!! It is so pretty and I really like it.
After we decorated, Daddy helped me write a letter to Santa.

October was supposed to be my subby month. I was hoping to complete some subby tasks, have extra subby play time and really indulge my subby and little sides. However, that plan went to shit when a scary incident at work triggered some things in my past and left me a complete anxiety filled mess.
I walked away from getDare a few weeks ago and went into hiding. This place, one of my favorite escapes, was no longer feeling like a safe haven. Instead, it has become its own source of anxiety....
