WoW or SC (Starcraft)

For Starcraft, it includes the sequel. WoW does as well.

Let's see which game is more popular here on getdare...

Which game do you prefer playing more? or do you prefer playing both?

For me, it is in no doubt, starcraft

I was a hardcore StarCraft fan... But after a few years of playing Brood Wars with no new updates I got tired of it and quit playing.. About a year ago got into WoW and still ocasionally play it. Both GREAT games, but I might have to go StarCraft, even though I voted for both. Can't wait for the new StarCraft to come out and give it a try, looking at vids of the Beta, it looks awesome!

I am in the Beta, it is awesome! Still needs some more balancing. IMO, the Protoss sucks right now.

Can you say that for SC 2 also?

I am in the beta and the new battle.net is awesome! All of Blizzard's new games will use that though.

To be perfectly honest, this may sounds shocking, since I am playing SC 2, I am gradually going away from SC 1. Some people says SC 2 is just an improved version of SC 1 but do you know what I say to that...? So what? Sc 1 was a fantastic game and now Blizzard is making it even more fantastic!

First i am not sure how you can compare these 2 games anyway... they have nothing in common...

Played WOW in a trial for a few days and found it totally boring... Like most MMORPGs it misses the fact that the interesting part of MMOs is to give people the option to influence the world, following pointless quest after pointless quest that 1,000,000 people have done before me is just not appealing to me in any way

To Starcraft, hmm while i really liked Warcraft 1 and 2 with their improvements over dune 2, like ordering several units at once, i got soon bored by the lack of deeper tactics in favour of fast clicking of most rts games already then, the innovations from Warcraft 2 to Starcraft were just to minimal to keep me interested.

I don't know what starcraft is and my brother had WOW for a few days and that looked naff. So I vote neither.

I don't like either. I'm a gee and a nerd but i never have played and enjoyed either of those games. Pokemon and COD however...

I understand your point however, you are kind of wrong there... One thing they share in common is that they are both made by Blizzard and they are both HUGELY popular. And the latter is why i made this thread.
