Hey guys, I did a search and didn't really find anything relating to this topic, so I hope it is in some way relevant to this section!

Have you ever drank before?
If not, do you ever intend to? If not, why?
If so, do you have any particular reason for drinking?

Not really, I like it mostly. Some drinks are really nice. And for socializing a beer is really nice.

Around 14/15. Definately at 15 when I was going out.

Not sure, I just wanted to try.

No, I also skip drinks if I don't feel like it.
Where do you usually drink?
Mostly at parties, or when going to the bar.
How often?
Depends. Sometimes I go every weekend. When I go on holidays I drink more. Like when I go skiing I can drink quite a lot. I can take quite a lot of alcohol in general :P

Beer usually, cause it's easy. Sometimes Bacardi coke/Malibu coke/ wine sometimes, anything with orangejuice, Kahlua!

Combined. Beer is typical guy, but the others not really.

Definately. No problem with that. I also like a good shaken cocktail at times :P

OMG yes. Quite a bit, but I never forget things luckily. Mostly just a bit tipsy though. I get talkative at first, and after that I just want to sleep haha

Hmmm yes, when I was like 15/16 we kinda collected road signs at times when drunk lol. But nothing really harming others :-)

At what age did you start drinking? I didn't start drinking at all until I was 15 and almost 16

If you were under the legal age, what was your motivation for drinking? I'd never tried it and others had.. What can be expected :-p although technically it's legal in the UK to drink from the age of 5 years old.. So yeah. It was legal, just buying it and consuming it in a pub isn't.

Did you ever feel pressured to drink? Did you give in? Never pressured.. I could have drank at any point in the last 4 years (Since I was 13)

Where do you usually drink? Only ever at camping trips with friends, or at the pub. I wouldn't drink in a club etc.

How often? Depends, up to once every two weeks if I have money

What do you usually drink? Newcastle Brown Ale, Double Jack & Coke, Lager, Vodka (If camping and only cos it's cheap + strong)

Would your choice be gender-defined? ie. Do you drink a typical 'guy/girl' drink? I just drink whatever tastes nice, but is still strong enough to get pissed.. I.E. I would drink Double Jack & Coke cos they will get you pissed, whereas Alchopops just give you a sugar rush..

If so, would you ever see yourself drinking an 'opposite gender' drink? I've drank them before, and used them as mixer with normal vodka.. I just don't find them strong enough and too expensive..

If not, why not? Alcohol isn't a particually nice thing to drink, no matter who you are or what you say, it will just never taste as nice as a glass of cold Coke.. The only reason I drink it is to get drunk, so why would I drink something weaker just for the taste? (Obv I don't just drink cheap vodka, I do like some alcoholic drinks over other ones..)

If so, do you have any particular reason for drinking? It's fun, it's nice socially because it gets everyone on the same wavelength, and beer is the tastiest beverage ever.

At what age did you start drinking? I tried it once or twice in high school, maybe age 16 or so, but didn't really drink at all again until I was 23.

If you were under the legal age, what was your motivation for drinking? I grew up in a small town. Lots of boredom and free time and not much else to do, so why not try it?

Did you ever feel pressured to drink? Did you give in? The only time I felt pressured was on my 21st birthday, but other than that, everyone was always cool with me not drinking. I didn't give in.

Where do you usually drink? At bars and in the shower.

How often? Twice a week at the bars (one social night, one music gig), and unless I'm sick, a beer every day in the shower. Showerbeer changed my life.

What do you usually drink? Pretty much any beer, although I prefer reds, Jameson's whiskey, and Sailor Jerry Rum are the usual suspects. But I love trying new cocktails, too.

Would your choice be gender-defined? ie. Do you drink a typical 'guy/girl' drink? Beer and whiskey are fairly manly, but I usually drink my rum with orange juice and bitters, which turns a fruity pink color. I'd call that one girly.

If so, would you ever see yourself drinking an 'opposite gender' drink? Rarely.

If not, why not? Girly drinks are usually super-sweet, and I don't really like sugary drinks.

If so, have you ever done something you regret while drunk? Hah, TONS of things. Of course, I've done plenty of stupid things sober, too. I think it's unfair to blame the alcohol.

I'm extremely self-conscious, and I'm very shy. Alcohol helps me relax a little bit and enjoy myself without constant worry...

18, legal drinking age in Ireland

There was times that I felt pressured, but I never gave in. I always thought I could be proud of myself for not giving in. I actually intended never to drink, but in the end I said what the hell, why not.

Pubs, Clubs, Bars, houses, wherever the party is.
How often?
Every few weeks.

Cider (Kopparberg), Vodka and OJ and normally do a shot or two.

If you were under the legal age, what was your motivation for drinking? I wanted to try it, and I enjoyed it. It wasn't a big deal to my friends or my parents.

Did you ever feel pressured to drink? Did you give in? Honestly, I've never been in any situation were I felt any pressure to drink. It was always cool if I said no, and sometimes I did. Like I said, it was never a big deal.

Where do you usually drink? Friends homes, my home, concerts, sometimes bars but not so often

How often? I have a drink or two almost every day

What do you usually drink? Beer, certain whiskeys on the rocks, martinis, and a few mixed drinks with rum or tequilla.

I reject the idea that a drink can be a 'guy drink' or a 'girl drink' and I enjoy drinks of all types, although I usually drink more manly drinks, I sometimes prefer girly drinks when I'm celebrating something. Sometimes I get some crap for that, but I'm pretty confident in my sexuality, so it doesn't bother me. Ignorant people will be ignorant.

Honestly, I've never been in any situation were I felt any pressure to drink. It was always cool if I said no, and sometimes I did. Like I said, it was never a big deal. Where do you usually drink?
