Favorite TV shows... Well, I am not a big television watcher but I do have some shows I like to watch. Since shows these days seem to have ten or twelve episode seasons, there usually aren't more than two or three shows that I like being shown at any given time of the year.

I enjoy Mad Men (on AMC). Most of the other shows I like are on HBO: Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood (okay, so that one may have jumped the shark during the most recent season), Veep, and News Hour.

A friend talked us into watching a few episodes of Breaking Bad this summer (the beginning of their first season) and I could sort of see why our friend liked it. We haven't gotten into watching it regularly. I think that might be because we can see it on-demand, so there's never any particular reason to go into the living room and turn on the TV right now. I can not understand houses where a television is always on. Ours is on a couple of hours a week for TV shows and maybe once a week for a movie. (We do watch about fifteen minutes or so of local news/weather/traffic on a TV in our bedroom while getting up and getting dressed on weekday mornings.)

Gotta give a fourth for Doctor Who! It's amazing, and has been running for as long as I can remember. Always a brilliant watch. Although I do love comedies too haha xD

Like some other people my favorite show is not on air anymore and that is "Whose Line is it Anyways?" the U.S. Version. Thank goodness for youtube. As for a show that's on the air right now I enjoy Restaurant Stakeout and Impractical Jokers.
