Discord server?

Hello getdare.
I've had the idea of making a discord server in the back of my mind for a couple days not but wasn't sure about some of the details so I wanted to post here to ask and maybe generate some hype (if any).
I've already asked if there's a dedicated getdare server and was told that there was so I don't this would be entirely getdare based.

Questions:

Should I make a server?
This is probally the biggest questions. Would it be worth the effort? Would people actually join it? Is this thread just a waste :P?

What should the theme be if any?
Should I have a theme or just let it be more generally kink based?

Should it be generally kink based or have a clear Dom/Sub dynamic?
This was kinda hard to fit into one question. The question is main should the server just be generally kink based or have some sort of domination hierarchy whereby people higher up can give tasks to those below them?

How should the server roles be defined?
Kinda similar to the last question but should the roles be based off a hierarchy or based off kinks with different kinks having a hierarchy (this seems a big complicated though)

Rules?
Should rules of the server only be for the server or more kink related like my blog o' rules?

Would really appreciate the community's input to be major part in this server if the server does actually get made

you can make different chats within the discord server for the different kinks. one for exposing one for nudes the main kinks etc. and based off sub slave dom master and optional open pm or owned status?

Thanks for the ideas. I was originally have the kinks setup as roles. This way I could make subsections using categories.
This way there could be private and public chats for the kinks. There could also be ways of unlocking more exclusive chats by completing dares or by posting alot.

So the question is, why make another one? Why not participate in the one that exists, and use #suggestions to put your ideas to a vote so that the mods implement them?

The more nearly identical servers you have, the more the community will be fragmented and the lesser participation you would get.

Discord is a type of chat server designed for the gaming world. In short, not much different from the IRC chat rooms of the late 90s that geezers like I used to lurk in, but mucho mas snazzier.

The reason I wanted to make a server was to be able to create a space for like minded people. While the GD server does exist its lack luster at best with only a couple chats.
Also I would rather manage one instead of offer suggestions because suggestions can be ignored or just interpreted wrong.
This thread was made for a server that's not really getdare based I would really appreciate some relevant replies.

If you were to make one, maybe have some pages with similar names and intents behind the kink and education subsections (Pet Palace, Nursery, Humiliation Den, etc...)?

You could also implement roles like you were thinking of, but to people who could focus almost exclusively in that area.

I've decided that I'm going to go ahead and make the server.
I'll set myself a goal of users (which will not be disclosed) which if I don't reach I will delete the server.
If anyone wants to help send me a PM and I'll send you a invite.
Could do with some name suggestions, current name is Everill's kinkdom.
Also a list major kinks would be nice but I might just google that.

The answer to lack of engagement is not spinning off more servers. That serves to fragment rather than unite. You can easily get threads created in the gD discord server to cater to your needs.

Now that I see you have joined the gD discord server, maybe you can participate in the different threads, or in voice chat.
