Which artist, or artists, are you crazy about?

What song, or songs, are you obsessed with at the moment?

Which artist, or artists, are you crazy about?
You may be surprised by this, but, Taylor Swift <3
But I also love Lorde, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys and a bunch of others

What song, or songs, are you obsessed with at the moment?
Lorde - Homemade Dynamite AND Lorde - Sober.
They haven't been properly released yet, and only exist as recordings from Coachella, but I can't stop listening XD

Any guilty pleasures?
Not really. Although I do often listen to the CoD Zombies Easter Egg songs, so I guess they are kind of a guilty pleasure. The songs are good and they remind me of my childhood/teens/present day XD ("115" especially so)

Which artist, or artists, are you crazy about?
I've been on a huge Melanie Martinez craze lately. I've always been a casual fan since literally the episode before she got voted off The Voice, (Side tangent: I'm still annoyed. I disliked her voice most of the way and she did great. Easily safe the whole way. She starts to really grow as a singer and really appeals to me with her last two performances, and she gets voted off.) but only recently have I started to actively seek out her music. Once I saw her music videos, I just adored her. She's an artist that most people will love or hate, I think, but I respect the absolute crap out of her as a creator.

What song, or songs, are you obsessed with at the moment?
It should come as no surprise after all that gushing that the songs stuck in my head the most are Melanie Martinez tracks. I adore Training Wheels (something about how she cusses is soothing instead of the visceral sort of reaction most artists get), and I love the sound effects in Soap. Pacify Her has a really good beat underlying it too, in my opinion. A few Halsey tracks also pop up now and then: Colors, Castle, Hold Me Down, etc.

Any guilty pleasures?
I feel a little bit pretentious liking what I call "mainstream hipster" music (artists like Twenty One Pilots, Melanie Martinez, and possibly Halsey that were mostly niche until fairly recently explosions in popularity and that make old fans slightly resentful that we have to share our toys with the new brats), but outside of that, not really.

Carly Rae Jepsen is the number one artist in the world, Charli XCX, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Kanye West and Clipping are my other current faves,

XO TOUR LIF3 is the most at the moment, BitchSlut and Into You are still my favourite songs of last year. DNA and Humble by Kendrick, finally Hard Times by Paramore.

Any guilty pleasures?
Half of my library is what people could call guilty pleasures. I just like what I like, and am not ashamed of any of it.

Honestly, there's not a lot of music I hate out there and I know I'm going to offend some people by this but the main style I don't like is country. My favorite styles though are techno and hard rock.

Which artist, or artists, are you crazy about?
Crazy may be too strong of a word but: Family Force 5, UnderOath, Abandon Kansas, House of Heroes, Andy Hunter, Paper Route, Capital Kings, Skillet to name a few.

What song, or songs, are you obsessed with at the moment?
Oddly the songs I'm obsessed with right now mostly reign from soundtracks either movies or video games. Like right now I'm listening to Reptile's Theme from Mortal Kombat the movie. Some other songs that I've really been into lately are:

I Need a Hero-Bonnie Clyde
Immortals-Fall Out Boy
and several other songs from DDR.

Any guilty pleasures?
Not really. I mean DDR could be considered one but as far as music goes...I don't really have any guilty pleasures.

Oh god far too many to name. Music is such a love of mine it's so hard to say. But all sorts: The Killers, Mumford & Sons, Modest Mouse, The Decemberists, Coldplay, Muse, Greenday, Tom Petty, She & Him, The Walkmen, Avril Lavigne and on and on and on

What song, or songs, are you obsessed with at the moment?
In the last 6 months i rediscovered Avril Lavigne and proceeded to buy all her albums, so safe to say i'm a little obsessed right now.
Also loving Emma Blackery due to her new EP and tour coming up.
And been getting into a fair few classics such as Roxy Music, The Smiths and various other classic songs it would take a while to list.
Oh, and discovering Blues for the first time after watching American Playboy on Amazon which had a cool soundtrack.

Any guilty pleasures?
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Big fan of Taylor since 2009 (yes, pre international breakout) but it's not exactly common for guys even now. Seen her in concert as well.
Katy just has awesome songs that are such fun to belt out when in a good mood.

I like music from most eras but my favourite is probably indie rock from about 2003 onward. Arctic Monkeys, Libertines, Peace, Big Moon, Drenge, Courteeners, Royal Blood.

I've been listening to a lot of Royal Blood and the Blossoms recently.

In terms of guilty pleasures I quite like Aqua and Basshunter

I never really listened to much music other than stuff on the radio. When I got a half price Apple Music student subscription about a year ago, I started listening to a lot more stuff. Also started listening to Triple J around that time (Australian Alternative station).

Currently I am loving artists like Tired Lion, Tash Sultana, Ali Barter and Vallis Alps. Also really enjoyed Magazine by Sløtface. My big playlist that I listen to just has hundreds of songs that I liked for some reason or another.

I also regularly listen to the likes of Blink182, Green Day, Simple Plan etc.

Guilty pleasure would be the second Guardians of the Galaxy mixtape. Mr Blue Sky is amazing.

Honestly, not that worth it live. I'm not a fan of big concerts anyway and even then it wasn't an inspiring show. She was good but hardly outstanding.
