Hello I’m really William Henry Gates but you can call me Bill for short and windows 7 was not my idea.
In fact contrary to popular opinion neither was MS-DOS 1.0 either. I just ripped off QDOS by secretly buying the product for $50,000 dollars and kept the deal secret from IBM. Tim Paterson invented QDOS by buying a manual on CP/M and used the idea to write a dirty OS sufficiently disguised to be legally classified as a new system. I’ve been using similar tactics ever since on various MS products so yes, widows 7 was definitely somebody else’s idea.

And here was me thinking that you'd have to be intelligent to come up with software design ideas, but no, any moron on a treadmill can do it.

What I want to know is, well, if that guy had the idea for Windows 7, why are we seeing an advert presented by a hand-held camera in the middle of a gym session when he's all sweaty and geeky? |
