The inability to carry on an intellectual conversation is a deal breaker for me. I have to be mentally challenged by my partner. The willingness to communicate openly is also key for me.

Do you prefer rope, metal or leather restraints?
I’ve only played with rope, but I would love to be bound in leather.

Would you rather give up sex or never be allowed to pleasure yourself?
Give up sex. I’m usually better at bringing myself to orgasm anyway.

It would be a treehouse with a moat. It would be open, solar powered, and made of all natural materials. It would be a 3 bed, two bath house with a large garden.

No. I’m a supporter of equality and acceptance of all gender labels.

It’s taking a look at how the literature of different cultures and languages has evolved, and focusing on how the writing styles of different time periods and countries is different for any number of reasons.

Would you rather have to live your whole life within 50 miles of a single spot, or have to move every year?
I move almost every year anyway, so I’ll go with that one.

Years of dancing must have left you with some good stories - what's your best one?
I don’t know. Most of my stories either involve injuries or crazy things that happened on tour. There was one time our bus broke down on the way to Dallas and I taught a dance class in the median of a highway. That’s something.

I have a rather good memory as it is. If there’s no penalty for not taking it, then no. I wouldn’t.

I love reading, and I think language reveals more than people realize. If you truly look at words and how they are used, you can learn an awful lot about a writer's attitude on certain subjects. This kind of research I find very intriguing, especially when comparing one writer's subconsciously communicated views with the worldview of the time or the influence of major world events.
