A recommendation: post the approximate diameter. It's easier to picture, making it easier to come up with ideas.
And you could try the pen trick. Keep sliding them in until you're stuffed and stay like that for a bit. Then try to fit more in. You can slide them between others to make it easier.
Or try something that gets wider as it goes down. Like a wine bottle or something similar.
